I haven't participated officially in 30 days of thanks that many people do on Facebook. I have, however, purposed my heart in this month to especially take notice of the things I'm thankful for. I'm thankful for...
...a husband who leads our family even when it's not easy. He's THE BEST man I could've married.
...two daughters who bring such light to my life. Thank you, Jesus.
...the chance to homeschool my daughters and "teach them diligently" to be a light to the world around them.
...for the most amazing extended family I could ever ask for. Mom, Dad, Emmalene, Johannes, Joseph, Brandalyn, Celine, Madeleine, Sophie, Phoebe and Joseph Dean. I can't explain how thrilled I am that we are family.
...for text messaging...so that Mom, Emmalene, Brandalyn and I can be crazy all day together even though we live in 3 different states.
...for my literary agent, Natasha Kern. We've been together for a year and I'm still humbled that you picked me.
...for my editors at Howard Books...Beth and Amanda...you're a joy to work with. I am so thankful to be a part of the Howard author family. You two are fantastic.
...for the chance to write stories...the voices have been there for so long and now you get to hear them, too!
...FOR GOD, MY LORD AND CREATOR. This list would be nothing if it weren't for GOD first. His love in my life makes all of this possible. Such joy, peace, and love I cannot explain.
The list could seriously go on and on...
My Amish History series will continue in January. Will be focusing on the HOLY-DAY season through December.
