I'm not sure where this one came from, but I liked it enough to write it down...
"Don't take offense to quickly. Give people a wide path."
"Never compare your insides to someone else's outsides." Jill Savage, No More Perfect Moms
"The child who learns to make himself do what he should (even when he doesn't feel like it) will be able to accomplish much in this life." Laying Down the Rails, Obedience lesson #11
I just loved this quote. As a mom I know that the act of obedience builds great character. I also see that this quote is not just for children. What does this quote cause you to see?
"Fruit is both an end and a beginning, the crown of one process and the germ of the next being present in the seed." Dr. James B. Adamson (Beth Moore James Study)
And a final one...
"Few things are more sad than to see a beautiful body, made for health, strength, and happiness—made in the image of God—injured and destroyed by bad habits." Charlotte Mason
Do you keep a notebook for special phrases, quotes, and thoughts? Do any of these resonate with you? I'd love to hear your thoughts!
